Support is provided via email, telephone, remote desktop and/or customer site visits if required.+ Provide hands on customer training for DNA extraction (manual, QIAsymphony, Tecan), library preparation (manual, NGS Sciclone, Ion Chef, Tecan), DNA quantification (LabChip GX, Yourgene QS250), next generation sequencing (NextSeq 550, Ion Proton, Ion S5) and data analysis+ Assist with manual and automated workflow installs at customer sites. This involves the IQ/OQ/PQ of liquid handling robots (Tecan) and quantification instrument (Yourgene QS250)+ Liaise with all teams across the business to coordinate new installs and upgrades+ Use of Q-Pulse eQMS to investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions+ Plan and carry out lab work to replicate custom issues and identify root cause

+ Initiate and lead investigations into non-conformances (NC) across the site product range (bulk/intermediate/finished goods for RT-PCR, STR, NGS & DNA extraction kits)+ Assist tech transfer teams in the USA in troubleshooting customer complaints+ Coordination and execution of real time stability projects+ Involvement in validation and transfer projects of NPIs/methods+ Routine use of TrackWise eQMS to document NCs, complaints and CAPAs+ Coordinate and lead process improvement projects+ Use of Excel to capture, trend and report OOS/OOT data to identify areas for process improvement+ Knowledge and utilisation of PPI methods, e.g. kiazans, fishbone analysis, 5S, lean waste

+ Utilise controlled SOPs to perform QC testing of raw material, intermediate and finished goods. Testing includes STR fragment analysis, RT-PCR, manual/automated DNA extraction, automated protein extraction, NGS, UV-VIS+ Routine operation and maintenance of all instrumentation required for the methods listed above, including genetic analysers (3130, 3500), RT-PCR instruments (7500, Viia7, QuantStudio), thermal cyclers (9700, Veriti, Proflex), automated DNA/protein extraction instruments (iPrep, MagMax), NGS instruments (Ion Chef, Ion S5XL), UV-VIS instrument (NanoDrop).+ Analysis and interpretation of RT-PCR, CE and NGS test data on a various software platforms+ Trainer for HID STR and RT-PCR QC workflows+ Routine revision of SOPs through Agile eDMS+ GMP/GLP working in compliance of ISO standards 9001, 13485 and 18385
