I am a freshman at Appalachian State University, studying psychology, with an intended concentration in adolescent developmental psychology. My short term goals are to graduate with honors and summa cum laude with a degree in psychology, and to complete graduate school for a master's degree. My long term goal is to have my own private practice in adolescent developmental psychology, being the best in my area. I am focused on helping people as my base goal for my career, and have done so through various volunteer work, like Habitat for Humanity, helping supply people with affordable housing, and through lifeguarding, by keeping people safe and happy. I am a driven student, and am in the Honors College at Appalachian State, and was in the National Honor Society in High School. I am a natural leader, and have founded a Venture Crew, achieved my Eagle Scout, and was a leader on the Cross Country and track teams throughout high school.
