My responsibility was to first translate the vision and taste of the CEO and Founder into identity branding, logo and custom typography. Researching, mood boarding and designing 12 months worth of collections with garments including core jersey based T-Shirts, Hoodies and Pants as well as Outerwear and Accessories. The creation of tech-packs for these garments and traveling to Portugal to assist in securing and negotiation a deal with our production partner. Digital design including UI and UX for the website. Content plan and content creation for social media requiring me to learn Blender to create 3D animations and motion graphics. Planning and organising photoshoots with models and agencies. I was also involved in consulting and problem solving on any and all relevant issues. Clients: Africa10, AfroNation Festival, Diego Maradona, Polar Sound Festival, TROYBOI, Tokyo Pizza, Select Agency, Voss AgencyAs lead designer my responsibilities ranged from meeting and speaking with clients to create or understand a brief, designing, art-working and presenting collections of merchandise, delivering designs to production partners and communicating with them to ensure quality control. These challenges required me to design for multiple projects simultaneously and as the companies lead designer manage relationships with clients and agents. I was also required to communicate clearly and professionally networking and pitching on evenings at events, bars and galleries but also in a logistical context managing the supply chain from production to e-commerce and social media. The highlight of this role was working with names like DIEGO MARADONA, Kojo Annan of AFRICA10 and seeing my designs worn by crowds of people for TROYBOI’s live performance at the infamous Red Rocks amphitheatre.
