My main duties and responsibilities as an assistant manager was to ensure that staff had a safe environment to work, this meant meeting daily requirements such as Transec checks, station audits, and safety walk rounds. From this commuter's would be travelling from a safe environment ensuring we kept accidents levels at a all time low. Retail side, meant opertating a successful new business case such as a MtoGo. Weekly and monthly targets meant that I had to drive sales on no tangible goods, as well as running a on time trains. The station had manned Automatic ticket Gates, a ticket office, Shop and 5 platforms. I liaised with other Tocs such as Northern Rail and lead on big events.
