Starting a new exciting and robust interfaith and multi-cultural ACPE CPE Center in the heart of Philadelphia. New CPE units will be staring in the fall of 2022.

Developed and implemented a new ACPE CPE program to meet the spiritual needs of our patients, families, and staff at Lankenau Medical Center.

Supervising summer 2012 CPE interns at both Scottish Rite and Egleston Hospitals.

Offer spiritual care to patients and their family members who are diagnosized with an infectious disease or life threatening illness. Work with a team of caregivers to provide the most holistic care possible to increase the quality of life, decrease symptoms, and prolong quality living.

Staff chaplain working in the Emergency Care Center. Supporting staff, patients and families through crises and daily issues. Offer spiritual care that is affirming of the individual's spiritual expression.

Certified ACPE Supervisor since February 2012.

ACPE contracted with The Institute of Chaplaincy and CPE at The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia Not-for-profit hospital and is the largest hospital in Georgia with Level I Trauma Center and several specialized programs and clinics as well including a Burn Unit. Grady has close to one thousand beds serving newborns to aging adults. Staff Chaplain providing interfaith spiritual care and support especially in the Emergency Care Center to patients, families, and hospital staff. Coordinate CPE process for residents or interns from reviewing application to interviewing, through orientation and completion of training units. Develop curriculum based on student and institution needs.

Trained as an ACPE supervisor and was certified Supervisor Candidate. Supervised intern CPE students and facilitated internship programs for local seminaries as well. Provided Pastoral Care to various clinical areas including: ICU, emergency room, med/surg, and cardiac ICU.

Provided counseling for court ordered patient for mental health, substance abuse, and anger management issues. Developed Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling Program. Supervised daily operations. Maintained contracts with State and Federal Agencies. Completed monthly billing to insurance companies and contracted agencies.

Completed four credits of CPE in an interfaith Department of Religious Ministries at an urban Level I Trauma Center. Worked on various units including cardiology intensive care, cardiac step-down unit, school-aged pediatric floor, adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit, women's gynecology/oncology, and general medical floor. Competent to work in all areas of the hospital and provided spiritual care in an interfaith setting.

Outpatient counseling facility providing primarily substance abuse counseling, domestic violence, and anger management counseling services. Developed and coordinated the Intensive Outpatient Program at the New Haven site and offered model for CSI site in Hartford. Performed Intake/Assessment Evaluation, developed treatment plans, provided counseling, and communicated with referral sources which included: State and Federal Probation Officers; Waterbury Drug Court; Department of Children and Families; Department of Public Health; New Haven Court System; Supportive Housing; Youth Center for Change; and the Department of Corrections. Facilitated group counseling both substance education and group process counseling styles. Provided one-on-one counseling for clients with multiple issues. Clientele consisted of adults experiencing different levels of motivation: from the self-motivated to the court mandated, as well as clients struggling with dual diagnoses.

Editor of monthly newsletter. Maintain website. Created weekly bulletins and announcements for weekly services. Worked with MSOffice, MSPublishing, and Church Windows Program. Church directory, giving statements maintained with database program.

Intermediate transitional/halfway house for adult males with chemical dependency issues and criminal justice issues. Provided general monitoring of clients as well as facilitated weekly goals group. Facilitated family groups, one-on-one counseling, development of treatment programs, and crisis counseling.

Intensive, inpatient substance abuse facility serving adults with chemical dependency issues. Interviewed clients at intake, developed treatment plans, one-on-one counseling sessions, family sessions, group therapy, case management, and discharge summaries. Created and facilitated educational groups and general monitoring of clients.

Psychiatric hospital serving all age groups with several units (acute, partial, outpatient, and residential treatment center). Administered and scored various psychological tests including: MMPI, Bender-Gestalt, House-Tree-Person, Beck Depression Inventory, and achievement tests. Interview patients and/or parents at intake. Interviewed patients for psychological assessment and reported at treatment team meetings. Rotation in social work and chemical dependency departments included group therapy and assessments.
