In my work life, I've discovered a few values that correspond with those who are successful in their work. Listed in importance:Work Ethic: If you aren't willing to focus and put your mind to the task at hand, you won't get anywhere, the most successful people in my life are always giving 110%.Attitude: Positivity goes a long way, whether it's working on a project with your coworkers, or trying to find a solution to a complex problem on your own, your attitude largely determines not only whether you will succeed or fail, but how much of your valuable energy is drained.Communication: It's okay to ask for help. Especially when working a new job, nobody will expect you to know everything. Most if not all people you work with in your life would rather you communicate a problem that you're having and work it through with you, than have you struggle on your own and hurt the entire team in the end.Integrity: Never try to be someone you're not, manipulating results or misleading others to achieve your short-term goals will only hurt you in the long term. Take responsibility for your mistakes and learn from them. You never stop learning in life, so it's always important to nurture curiousity.Creativity: Critical thinking or problem solving is possibly the most important skill in the workplace, and the ability to find creative solutions is priceless. I believe it's important to exercise creativity both inside and outside of the workplace to keep your brain in top shape.In my path to becoming the best me I can be, I intend to reflect these values with the actions that I take and the choices I make in my life.
