Teddy Bear Hospital (TBH) is a volunteer, student-led organisation endeavouring to increase healthcare proficiency in children by reducing anxiety and reinforcing healthy habits. I plan to expand our team in the coming year to ensure that as many children as possible can access the vital information that we teach.

Volunteer role that involves teaching young people, especially those in at-risk groups, about the implications of violent crime and how to respond if they are presented with an injured person. As Deputy Team Leader, I hold a senior role in the society by assisting with logistics and overseeing sessions.

A senior position in this established society which works on behalf of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Responsibilities include organising regular meetings, completing administrative tasks, and overseeing the main objectives of the society which are to fundraise for and spread awareness of our parent humanitarian organisation.

Responsible for planning and delivering rewarding sessions for gymnasts aged 2-15. Meticulous monitoring of the children's progress was needed to nurture their holistic development. Extra responsibilities included being the lead coach and overseeing the progression of the less experienced coaches.

The most senior student role was achieved through commitment to both the school and the wider community over many years. A challenging role, this opportunity nurtured the development of key leadership skills which were necessary when co-leading a large school council toward innovation of the school environment.

Successfully completed a Nuffield Research Placement entitled 'Endemic with Malaria but Survived COVID-19: Any Role of Trained Immunity?'. Exploring the pathological and epidemiological features of malaria and the immunological trends within Africa has inspired an enthusiasm for research that will carry into my professional career.
