Hello there, my name is Liam Scanlon. I am a high school graduate of South Fayette High School and currently enrolled at Full Sail University. I'm an eager person looking to change the gaming industry with my logistical and artistic input.With my knowledge from South Fayette High school, I learned the introductory mechanics to programming with Scratch and Python. My skills continued further into game jams and clubs to further hone my computer programming skills.My activity in the National Junior Art Honors Society has been one of the keystones that developed my path to creative art. I was able to work on displaying art around my city and work with people who have the same passion I do.My current enrollment at Full Sail University allows me to further develop my skills in computer science and media development. With my bachelor's degree, I will be able to develop and produce games that can change the future.

Summer Apprenticeship
Working at Simcoach Games has allowed me to develop my skills in the Game Art and Game Development fields. I have worked on creating two game prototypes as the roles of a lead artist and a supporting developer.At Simcoach Games, we believe that learning comes from building and delivering products to the Company, specifically purposeful games that teach behavior and cognitive change through game playing. In this program, apprentices collectively ideated 250 game design concepts and then selected 37 ideas to present to senior leadership and their cohort of apprentices. Apprentices then designed and built 20 game prototypes. Each apprentice was involved in a role or multiple roles within two project teams in the duration of the program to deliver product through the lens of different roles and responsibilities of a project team member. Teams were self-directed in design ideas created and presented, as well as their pursued games built after their presentations.
