I am a Senior Policy and Research Manager at Ecorys, where I lead and support teams in delivering high-quality Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) across social, economic, and environmental policies. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including UK government bodies such as Defra, FCDO, DHSC, and ICAI, international organisations such as the World Bank, and foundations like the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.With extensive experience in development evaluation, I specialise in theory-based and complexity-responsive methodological approaches, with a keen interest in evaluating transformative change and research impact. I also specialise in understanding the 'theory of delivery' of different aid instruments, including technical assistance, research and innovation, grants, private sector investments and multilateral aid, and how they can work together to deliver benefits greater than the sum of their parts.As a mixed-methods researcher, I leverage both qualitative and quantitative techniques, including social network analysis, to credibly and systematically gather, analyse, and synthesise evidence. My work spans various thematic areas of global sustainable development, including biodiversity conservation and the illegal wildlife trade; climate mitigation and adaptation; sustainable cities and green infrastructure; sustainable livelihoods; global health; development finance; and education. I have collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, bilateral and multilateral agencies, NGOs, CSOs, research institutions, and citizens involved or affected by interventions. My hands-on country experience includes India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Mauritius, Rwanda, the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Solomon Islands.I hold an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a BASc in Economic Studies and Global Sustainable Development from the University of Warwick.
