A fantastic work experience role at Colchester United FC, which gave me a brilliant grounding in social media, media broadcasting and press management. I was also lucky enough to become an Assistant Editor of the match day programme, We Are United, and regularly contributed with features that I had devised myself. I was interviewing first team players on a regular basis, and even had a go at commentating on a pre-season game! That was cool.

My first job was at Chelmsford City Council as a Comms assistant. I essentially was there to help do any admin that was needed, and I was happy to help with whatever I had to do.
