Having been working on this project from its infancy I have developed a large knowledge of the ROTO machine - being able to assemble it in its entirety, from a bare chassis to a fully workable machine. I use this knowledge to not only build the machine but diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults when required and rectify them, whilst also keeping a keen eye out for quality on a day to day basis, making sure we endeavour to build a quality machine for the customer.

Working within the Manufacturing Engineering Department;• Supported the introduction of a brand new machine to the JCB brand, the rotating telehandler (ROTO)• Involved in the build process of some prototype and pre production machines, working from engineering drawings, both electrical and hydraulic. • Created SOP’s • Assisted with the introduction of the Tier 4 Final after treatment system to the Loadall Assembly line. • Assisted with the introduction of the ETH specification parts to the Loadall assembly line. • Assisted with the introduction of the new Next Gen Loadall Cab to the Loadall assembly line.

Working alongside the site engineer, to set out coordinates for the construction of new FST’s, other water treatment tanks and all other infrastructure on a large water treatment works extension. Other duties included driving some small plant machines when required and other general yard duties.
