I am currently a senior psychology and biology double major on the neuroscience track in the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst set to graduate on May 20th, 2024.I hope to one day earn a Ph.D. in clinical or developmental psychology. My primary research focus concerns the influence of childhood adversity on physiological, behavioral, and neuroendocrinological development for individuals with and without neurodevelopmental disorders, namely autism spectrum disorder. My secondary research focus concerns finding more effective treatment methods for complex post-traumatic stress disorder based on these findings.I have laboratory training in physiological data cleaning and compilation (heart rate variability and electrodermal activity), applied Python and R Studio programming and development, writing and presenting an honor's thesis, the foundations of neuroendocrinological studies on rodents and humans, REDCap, lab management via shadowing one of my lab's current lab coordinators, and biological and chemical benchwork. I have clinical training in basic life support, psychotropic medication administration, caseload management, patient care, transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family systems therapy, and social work.I am currently interested in finding a postbaccalaureate research position in clinical, developmental, or computational psychology or behavioral neuroendocrinology.
