Responsible for: performing research and development tasks under the direction of a senior engineer; assisting with all phases of design, construction, and commissioning of pilot reactor system; participation in all HAZOPs and creation of safety documents when appropriate; leading the ASPEN modeling of the OMC pilot reactor and all commercial configurations; leading the establishment and initial piloting of commercial synthesis methods for formulation of the OMC active material.

Supported a research project on solar-thermochemical fuels in Dr. Alan Weimer's lab. This included the development of a scalable synthesis procedure for the active process material and on-site testing of said procedure at a pilot plant to demonstrate scalability. I also maintained and operated of high-temperature stagnation flow reactor during 4 months of continuous operation, during which the active material underwent repeated redox cycling to demonstrate long-term stability.

Developed series of tutorial workshops designed to teach students to the Aspen Plus and HYSYS gradually over the course of their undergraduate career. These workshops tie the software into current course material students are familiar with to facilitate a better learning experience.
