Whilst being responsible for teaching students new and interesting topics, in this role it is almost more important to be able to spark interests in the children. By assessing the best forms of approach to a topic and thinking outside of the box, I have heavily contributed to the impressive grades of the pupils in my head group.Being involved in extra-curricular activities within the school has also been an important aspect of my time here. I have helped organise and execute concerts, productions and formal meetings, I have set up and ran my own after school clubs and have used my language skills and willingness to help during charity events.6x Nord Anglia University courses completed, including "Safeguarding of Children", "Unconscious Bias" and "Ethical Standards"

Alongside my role at the International School of Moscow, I have been adhering my teaching and language skills to help a student who needs support with the English language. Focusing on written, reading, listening and oral skills, we have been covering a range of topics (from literature to history) in order to improve his language efficiency.

Here I successfully fulfilled the roles of waiter, cook and cleaner. During my time here, I have acquired experience which has helped me gain impeccable customer service abilities, including people from all lifestyles and customers who need specific conditions or extra care (for example, those with disabilities or allergies). I have been offered and have taken opportunities that hold responsibility, and require me to quickly adapt to and resolve an array of situations (for example, customer complaints and stock orders) and manage a team of five or more people. Here I have demonstrated that I can work both as a team and independently quickly, safely and always to a high standard.

Working for this retail company I was able to gain valuable customer service experience at one of the busiest times of the year. This meant that I needed to quickly learn the procedures of the job and execute them just as fast. I also gained valuable phone experience with customers, other stores in the branch and suppliers.

Alongside my studies, I worked for the University of Sheffield’s Disability Services, namely acting as a Note Taker in lectures and seminars for different students. This helped me develop my understanding of the needs of others, especially of those with various disabilities, and adapt accordingly in a way that will be beneficial to them. Having this job alongside my studies helped me improve my time management skills.
