I have worked for 15years with Babcock International at RAFC Cranwell, the home of Initial Officer, Aircrew and Pilot Training. Since starting from college I have worked my way up from an entry role to my current responsibilities as Workshop Controller delivering General Engineering Services alongside Military personnel. Responsibilities include the control and co-ordination of all engineering works and staff for manufacture, repair or modification to aircraft and associated parts within the Metal, Carpentry, Fabric and Surface Finish workshops. I report to the General Engineering manager. My primary role is as a single point of contact for the customer and to provide a seamless interface between the customer and workshop personnel dealing with all responsibilities that come with coordinating tasking. I have combined professional and personal development during this time including Management Level 3 NVQ, Quality Management Systems Auditing and Continuous Improvement (Yellow Belt) supporting my changing responsibilities. Working with Military personnel across all ranks and levels of seniority has provided a depth of experience for written and verbal communications for problem solving and issue resolution in general and safety critical tasks requiring including legal and safety record keeping. I am very well organised, highly motivated individual with a track record of innovation, improvement and a disciplined approach to work and team leadership.
