Liam has over 30 years of experience in the fields of investment banking and corporate finance. After starting his career as a professional footballer with Swindon Town FC in the UK and working in the 1980’s for corporate raiders Robert Holmes a Court and Alan Bond, in 1994 Liam moved into investment banking and he established Macquarie Bank’s Bullion and Commodities division in Perth. In 1997 Liam was recruited to head up Bankers Trust’s investment banking activities in Western Australia. Following the sale of Bankers Trust Australia Limited in 1999, Liam became a founding principal of PCF Capital Group, a WA based corporate advisory and investment banking business. PCF Capital Group merged with Argonaut Limited, a Perth based investment banking, stock broking and funds management business in July 2021 and Liam was appointed Deputy Chair.He is Chairman of Solgold Plc (emerging copper gold major with world class Alpala Project in Ecuador), Chairman of Lunnon Metals Limited (Kambalda nickel and gold mining and exploration company), Executive Director and Deputy Chair of Argonaut Limited and a member of the Board of Governors at St Mary's Anglican Girls School.
