When seeing the passion my brother had for helping others with substance abuse, l decided to take a break from the arts and move to Louisiana to work in the field of substance abuse and mental health. I started as a temp certified nursing assistant running a detox unit in coordination with our doctor. I became a certified crisis mitigation/suicide.
