I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Health Related Exercise and Fitness, and I am a qualified primary educator (QTS) with over six years of teaching experience.My career began in healthcare as a Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy assistant at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where I gained invaluable insights into physical rehabilitation and child development. Transitioning to education, I leveraged this knowledge to enrich my teaching practices, fostering a holistic approach to student wellbeing and physical education.Parallel to my teaching career, I have been deeply involved in rugby, both as a player and a coach. As the former Head Coach at RuggerEds, I specialized in delivering rugby education to young learners, instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience through sport. Currently, I am in my 13th season playing semi-professional rugby for Sheffield Tigers RUFC 1st XV, and I serve as the Junior Colts Rugby Coach, leading our team to become Yorkshire League runners-up and Cup finalists in the 23/24 season.In addition to my coaching role with the Junior Colts, I am honored to be the Director of Women’s and Girls Rugby at Sheffield Tigers Women RUFC. Under my leadership, our team achieved the status of league runners-up and reached the finals of the Papa John’s Junior Cup in the 23/24 season.My diverse experience in education, healthcare, and sports coaching has equipped me with a unique skill set.
