After working at The Boardwalk (Manchester music venue and rehearsal space for Oasis, James, The Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets...) I was asked to manage the main bar at the world famous Hacienda night club. I was already a regular so I jumped at the chance. The timing was excellent, as this was just at the explosion of the House Music scene. I have incredible memories and stories from this time. It wasn't like working in an average club and I met some of the worlds biggest DJ's, musicians. While at art college and working at The Boardwalk (famous Manchester music venue), I set up my first company, 'SWAG" designing and printing t-shirts and flyers for bands and club nights. Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets) asked me to screenprint the infamous 'Cool as Fuck' t-shirts which went on the sell more than their records. I toured with the Inspirals as their merchandise guy along with Noel Gallagher, who was their roadie.
