• Mixing Monitors on an Allen & Heath Dlive C2500 – 48 channels over the CDM48 - analogue split between FOH and Mons• 4 sets of Stereo IEMS for the band, alongside having my own Cue mix with shout mics and a single Crew mix for backline techs• Looking after all stage MIDI and backline MIDI controller backline – 1 keyboard, 1 bespoke 3D printed multi MIDI controller known by the band as ‘Sparky’, an SPD. MIDI also feeds to 3 Kempers all distributed via a Iconnectivity MIDI and Audio interfaces. Ableton triggers MIDI control signal for patch changes for all guitars on stage, drum samples/triggers within the SPD, and Keyboard/synth VSTs controlled via the onstage MIDI controllers alongside outputting backing tracks and timecode signals. Ableton and MIDI distribution is integral to the show and so we utilised redundancy across Two MacBook’s with auto switch fail solutions of both Ableton audio and control • Operating Ableton during soundchecks and utilising Ableset over a networked iPad to allow the drummer play/pause/next&previous song within Ableton control during the show• Utilizing Mac’s MIDI Network feature to allow Vocal FX/Synth’s to trigger on/off from Ableton at various sections throughout the set• Managing and Co-ordianting all RF on shows – 12 channels total across 5 guitars, 6 IEM transmitters, 2 RF mics – All Sennheiser and Audio Technica • Recording each show using the Dante Card in the mix rack• Re-racking playback gear for fly shows into smaller 8u racks/peli cases ready for freight • Cleaning bands IEM’s daily to prevent damage Show less
