I am currently in my 15th year of Primary education and have taught in 4 different schools and been involved in 5 ofsted inspections. I have taught across KS2 and have experience of mixed year group classes. This year I have branched out and I am currently teaching in year 1 to gain experience and understanding of KS1. I have lead many curriculum subjects such as ICT, Frech, PE and Science. I am now currently involved in leading Maths and ICT as part of a team and I have been a curriculum development leader for 3 years too. I have participated in many courses such as the Shirley Clarke research project which ran across a 12 month cycle before giving a presentation based on questioning to leaders and heads across Hertfordshire. During the last two years I have taught Year 1 in St Albans whereby achieving 100% in 2018 for the phonics screening, 2019 we scored 96%. Currently, I am back in Year 6 enjoying my class, being head of PE and trying promote mental health and well-being.My current roles in school are: KS2 lead, SLT, School Council Lead, Safer Travel ambassador, PE and Competitive Sports leads and social media lead, where I keep the school Facebook/Twitter and Instagram updated regularly to ensure our families and the local community are aware how amazing our children are. My next venture is linking with the mayor of Hertsmere and local Councillors to see if we can collaborate with our twin town in Israel - Shoham.
