While fulfilling these roles, the school librarian empowers students to think, create, share, and grow as they harness curiosity, model responsibility, inspire exploration, promote creativity, and deepen understanding. The School Librarian is responsive to the needs of all learners and establishes a stimulating, welcoming environment for students and faculty, promotes lifelong reading and intellectual freedom, and develops a balanced, diverse collection. The school librarian transforms learning by designing authentic learning experiences and programming.The Events Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of school performances and events, including choosing venues, developing seating, and evaluating success afterward. This position works collaboratively with faculty and staff. Excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail are vital this role.The Academic Technology Aide supports students and teachers with basic technology needs. This position includes troubleshooting device issues, assisting with faculty training and with maintenance of Google Workspace Admin Console, the setup new devices, and to maintain an inventory of school technology.
