I bring experience from my role as cabin crew and understand the importance of the effective use of all available resources for flight crew personnel to assure a safe and efficient operation, reducing error, avoiding stress and increasing efficiency. I am a team player and face life with ‘a straight bat’ whether it's playing in a football team (for over 10 years), where I took on the responsibility of captaincy - developing and leading my team by being caring, courageous and consistent so that the team respected and trusted me to lead them in the right direction; or from working with the general public in my role as a Police officer. Respect all, fear no-one is one of my mottos. I am culturally aware and embrace diversity. My problem-solving skills are constantly developing through experience: in my current role, I create robust action plans to help achieve a solution. Throughout my career I have always had the safety of others at the centre of everything I do. Personal standards are essential when it comes to first impressions; I always make sure that I am well presented, focused, portraying confidence and professionalism.
