As a young person I set out to be truly successful in the business of hospitality and retail, gaining formal qualifications in both areas. By age 20 I was Managing a branch of one of Australia’s biggest retail giants, Harvey Norman. Launching off this success I moved to the United Kingdom where I reached the highest level of silver service possible, as a waiter on the Captains table aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 Luxury Cruise Liner. Returning to Australia I invested my substantial hospitality skills in managing the Hog’s Breath Café Tamworth, which I then purchased two years later, aged just 22. During my time as owner, I doubled the value of the store and increased the sales by over 50%, on several occasions winning awards for Highest Gross Profit and Best Mystery Shopper. Since then my efforts have turn to Zambrero, where I have now bought the two Newcastle stores and open another from new. I am fiercely passionate about exceeding customer expectations and have a strong focus on the customer experience. When I’m not at work you can find me down at Merewether SLSC given up my time to support the club where ever I can. Work to live, not live to work.
