Treat the patient, not the diagnosis. I believe in an individualized approach to patient care and ongoing assessment of our patients. With a passion for health and well-being, I energize patients to achieve their goals and to take care of the body. I have a strong interest in new research, especially in persistent pain. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, I bring a commitment to serving patients of all backgrounds both locally and abroad, and hope to volunteer internationally as a future Physical Therapist.Working with Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy, I have honed my skills in both exercise instruction and clinic management in outpatient care. I've gained invaluable insights into personalized patient care while exploring diverse interventions including Fascial Distortion Model, myofascial release, and dry needling. As the Lead for a new clinic location, I have taken on a leading role in both patient care and administrative responsibilities. My experience at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center further strengthened my commitment to patient-centered care. In the inpatient setting, I witnessed firsthand how extended care changes treatment goals and discovered the importance of mindset in patient outcomes. Working with patients suffering from chronic pain and often depression, I found that reframing attitudes toward pain and celebrating small successes were powerful ways to inspire progress.I pursued various leadership roles in the Boise State Honors College, but I discovered my spark for teaching as a Discussion Group Leader where led classroom discussions and orientation activities while making lasting memories with my students. Nominated as a Frank Church Scholar for my volunteer experience with a Palestinian nonprofit, I applied my teaching experience as an English Language Instructor in creating lesson plans and teaching classes.
