As a third-year economics student at Temple University, I am passionate about applying econometrics and data analytics to the sports industry. I have taken a combination of econometrics and economic theory courses to sharpen my quantitative and critical thinking skills, and I am eager to learn more and expand my knowledge in this field.I also have valuable experience as a freelance statistician, where I work with and support on-air talent in identifying and relaying live statistics for sports broadcasts. This role has enhanced my communication and teamwork skills, as I have to be concise, accurate, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.My goal is ultimately to interweave my passions for economics and sports to pursue a career in sports analytics, where I can use my econometrics expertise and statistic skills to provide insights and solutions for sports organizations and media outlets.
