From a young age, I've thrived off pushing myself and looking for the next challenge. At 14, I was ranked 7th in the nation in Epee fencing. As I got older, I put that focus into academics and graduated with an Associate of Arts in Journalism. I've always enjoyed telling stories, but I found there to be too many restrictions when it came to actually writing in the field. Looking for the next challenge, I landed on something I'd always been surrounded and fascinated by, technology. Having a knack for puzzle solving only helped to stoke my interest in software development. It was here that I was able to finally use all of my talents to their full potential. Collaborating with others, using each success to push to the next level, and the ability to use creative thinking to complete tasks was the breath of fresh air I was looking for. In other words, I find fulfillment by constantly learning new things as well as motivating and uplifting others. I'm looking for a career where my skills and personality can be utilized in a way that makes the lives of those around me easier and happier.
