Utilitywise is a leading independent utility cost management consultancy offering energy procurement and energy management products and services to its business customers throughout the UK. The Company has established trading relationships with a number of the major UK energy suppliers. Utilitywise provides services to its customers designed to assist them in achieving better value from their energy contracts, reducing their energy consumption and lowering their carbon footprint.

My main responsibility at Bdaily was to make cold outbound calls to SMEs to discuss their current advertising strategies and introduce them to Bdailys services and explain the benefits of advertising with Bdaily. I sourced my own leads using business directories and LinkedIn and researched each company individually before calling them.

My main responsibilities at EE were to answer inbound telephone calls and discuss mobile phone upgrades as well as broadband and additional lines. I worked in the retentions department, primarily helping the customer find the right product for them and selling that product to the customer whilst trying to match or beat competitors and working towards challenging monthly targets. I also dealt with financial transactions on a day-to-day basis, both taking deposits from customer and taking full payments from customers for handsets.

My responsibilities included the general day to day running of a busy flooring store selling carpets, woods, vinyl and tiles etc. I was responsible for all aspects of running the business from ordering stock to visiting customers’ properties and giving quotes. for jobs. I also managed the general logistics of the business which included arranging the fitters diaries and making sure that they were able to meet deadlines.

My main responsibilities at Orange were to answer inbound telephone calls and use various different systems dependent on the query the customer had. I worked in the sales department, primarily helping a customer find the right product for them and selling that product to the customer whilst working towards challenging monthly targets. I also dealt with financial transactions on a day-to-day basis, both taking deposits from customer and taking full payments from customers for handsets.

My main responsibilities at HMRC were to answer inbound telephone calls and input data onto the national insurance database. I worked on two lines whilst at HMRC; one dealing with registering self-employed people for tax and national insurance. The other was a tax evasion line which people were able to call if they suspected somebody of not paying income tax.
