In this research we are developing a database of women ages 18-45 whose death certificates were other than homicide. Our hypothesis is that homicides could be obscured by mislabeling femicide as an Accident, Suicide, or other Natural Causes of Death. Received a certification in a medicolegal death investigation course through the Death Investigation Training Academy.
