Rising Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Orbital Dynamics and Orbit Determination. Work with mentors to gain a deep level of knowledge and understanding in the field.Research and implement deep learning and neural network methodologies to explore new ways to approach optimization for Space Situational Awareness related tasks.Telescope operator for UKIRT in Hawaii. Responsibilities include managing observation schedule, telescope instrumentation, data quality control, and analysis. Includes data reduction, object detection, and light curve analysis. Interfacing with UKIRT staff to troubleshoot telescope problems. Created observation manual for all other operators to reference while learning to use the telescope. Conjunction analysis and collision avoidance simulation with orbital debris. Simulate pending orbital collision and design the maneuvers required to minimize the cost to meet the probability of collision requirement. Learned STK API and plugin development in MATLAB. Presented results at a SERC colloquium in Australia.Non-gravitational perturbation models for high precision orbit propagation. Implement high fidelity space environment models to accurately predict the effects on satellite motion. ATC Intern Committee lead.
