My current role is as the Global Head of Sales for VirusTotal, Google Cloud Security. VirusTotal was founded in 2004 as a free service that analyzes files and URLs for viruses, worms, trojans and other kinds of malicious content. Our goal is to make the internet a safer place through collaboration between members of the antivirus industry, researchers and end users of all kinds. Fortune 500 companies, governments and leading security companies are all part of the VirusTotal community, which has grown to over 500,000 registered users. VirusTotal became part of Google in 2012.I previously spent 3.5 years working as a Business Development Consultant on the Google Customer Solutions Team. My role was to identify and speak to businesses in the UK & Ireland who are looking to make the move online or to grow their existing digital efforts.I'm also a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and previously worked in this space with Google, PwC and Grant Thornton. I was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Scamps.ie. Scamps is an online platform that connects parents with the appropriate camps for their kids all across Ireland. Business was subsequently acquired.Volunteer youth work is also a huge part of my life. I previously served as the Senior Leader in charge of the Knockadoon Youth Week (2011-2015) which is a national youth project that involved overseeing / managing a volunteer leader group of approximately 80+ leaders. The majority of my time outside camp was spent organizing and participating in fundraising events which we relied on to fund equipment, transport, training etc.
