As an Environmental Designer at North Design Build, I'm responsible for creative concepting, space planning, photorealistic rendering, build drawings, and graphic design for brand activations and retail pop-ups.

Utilizing in-depth knowledge and managing a small team of investment analysts, I executed on real estate and small business investments from start to finish, with a specialization in capital raising. Initiatives included: discovering and pitching potential investments, determining optimal asset-management strategies involving highest and best use, negotiating purchase terms with agents or directly with sellers, forecasting the financial performance of potential assets, managing capital raising through a network of investors and presenting investment opportunities to them, coordinating high-level asset management tasks with project managers, and strategizing and executing on asset dispositions. In this role, I improved upon skills in the development and execution of business and real estate investment strategy, team management, financial forecasting, and private capital raising.

Working with a portfolio management team, I performed research and financial analysis on potential private equity investments, utilized communications and graphic design abilities to assist in the marketing of these investments to potential investors, and employed skills in organization and strategic planning to optimize investment performance. Emphasis was placed on strategic and innovative asset management and fostering relationships with business partners and the community.

Working alongside a talented team of analysts, asset managers, and leasing agents, I integrated my skills in financial analysis, marketing, and communications to make profitable real estate co-investments accessible to a broader network of private investors. Duties included developing financial forecasts, preparing descriptive PDFs and presentations for investments, coordinating and presenting investment presentations, managing the capital raising process, assembling monthly investment reports, communicating with investors, and acquiring private investors through networking.

Working alongside management, duties included performing careful and detailed due diligence on potential property acquisitions, communicating with provincial and federal organizations to coordinate projects and funding, and creating promotional material for developing businesses and property sales. Skills were developed in communication, publication design, and financial analysis.

Working alongside the CEO on a small team of contractors, duties included managing and completing small construction projects (fences, decks, landscaping), coordinating contracted work with property owners and scheduling and managing employees.
