Responsible for weather output on television, online and social media for Channel 4 News at ITN.Previously worked for nine years as a Broadcast Meteorologist at the BBC Weather Centre in London, broadcasting regionally, nationally and internationally across BBC TV, radio and online. Also responsible for communicating and monitoring weather editorial and story of the day across BBC Weather output.Whilst at the BBC, regularly broadcast on BBC One, BBC News, BBC World News and Radio 4 on a range of programmes - BBC Breakfast, Andrew Marr Show, Country Tracks, Today programme, as well as reading the Shipping Forecast.A fully qualified weather forecaster, having completed the Met Office IFC qualification at the Met Office College in Exeter, where spending time working as a commercial and aviation forecaster.Extensive knowledge and experience of weather contracts, weather services and on-air graphics, having set up a successful weather service at Channel 4.Passionate for weather, its communication in the media, and engaging audiences about it, in a world where its effects are being felt more in a changing climate.Author of ‘Weather, Camera, Action!’ a children's non-fiction book about the weather for 7-11 year olds, released in September 2022 and published by Templar Books.
