Liam is a Finnish educated Chartered Physiotherapist who holds an MSc in Sports Medicine from Trinity College Dublin. In 2001, he established DBC Healthcare Ireland and opened a technology-led practice in South Dublin. Over the last 17 years, Liam has become one of Ireland's leading spine-specialist rehabilitation physiotherapists. DBC Healthcare Ireland has expanded to locations in Naas, UCD, Athlone, Charter Medical Private Hospital (Mullingar) and most recently Bray, Co. Wicklow. These state-of-the-art centres are each over 200 square metres in size, and host a range of specialist assessment and rehabilitation systems. Combined with an expert, specialist physiotherapy staff, the company is growing Ireland rehabilitation network.

He led the successful bid team which saw Ireland awarded the right to host the European Championships Triathlon Championships in 2010.
