Worked on and assisted the planning, execution, design, maintenance, and rehabilitation of the electrical assets and systems on Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) owned roads (Ex Hwy 401). Maintained and updated MTO’s electrical asset system, which tracked the electrical assets by type, installation, contract, GPS, and other relevant electrical details. Worked with the electrical policy team to develop new policy and processes and to ensure new electrical products met MTO and other industry standards (CSA, ANSI, DLC, IES, etc). I completed electrical/lighting design and project management, along with completing estimates, cost benefit analysis, utilizing traffic studies, working with MTO coordinators, working with external consultant firms, and site visits to test and verify work.

- Worked throughout the Customer and Capital process for 120V to 28kV projects. Set up Electrical and Civil design drawings and schematics using GIS software. - Performed cable pulling calculation using Pull Planner for specific cable types.- Created and finalized project designs, schematics, and documents that complied with company and ministry standards. These were used by designers, supervisors, internal crews, construction contractors, clients, and government officials.- Closed out projects using SAP finance software, billing projects up to +$100,000 to different stakeholder groups.- Used Microsoft’s CRM and excel to meditate and assign customer projects. These projects were assigned in a timely fashion, where all important information was passed onto the correct groups, and the projects difficultly complied with the designer’s experience.
