I have just finished a long and eventful role as an assistant campaign manager for a mayoral election in Fall River, MA. Mostly, my duties consisted of media outreach, like setting up interviews and debates for the candidate. I also handled almost all of the social media content for the campaign, as well as shot and directed 3 television ads.Another key role I played in the campaign was our "get out the vote" initiative. As one of the managers, I organized over 100 volunteers, where we were able to reach out to over 4,000 voters.My time as a journalist has also helped me sharpen my skills in both video production and storytelling. As an intern as WYES New Orleans, I helped produce a successful documentary on Dr. Norman Francis, a local civil rights hero and former President of Xavier University. I also wrote and shot all of my own stories for Wolfpack News, the Loyola Broadcast news station.
