I was invited to become a fellow of the Constructive Institute in Denmark. I spent five months researching and developing best-practice guidelines for constructive climate reporting.

Worked as a multimedia journalist at Adelaide's daily independent online newspaper InDaily.Introduced data and interactive journalism at the paper, for which I won the National 2013 and 2014 Walkley Foundation Young Journalist of the Year Awards (Innovation).

Responsible for conceiving of, creating radio segments for ABC891; produced for Carole Whitelock's Afternoons Segment, Sonya Feldhoff's Drive, and Peter Goers' Evenings. Have also worked at ABC Port Pirie, producing the morning program.

Channel 44's Inside Adelaide Created a half-hour current affairs show from scratch on Channel 44 Adelaide (Community Television), covering local news and events. Responsible for recruiting, training, leading and managing a large team (40+) of journalists, camerapeople, editors and managers. As Chief of Staff, responsible for gathering stories and assigning them to journalists; I also had to review stories for their newsworthiness, and decide on runlists. I also filed regular TV current affairs pieces for the show.; Interned for one week in Melbourne. Worked as a journalist, filing stories for Crikey newsletter and website. (Jan - March 2011) Australian Rowing Championships - Internship Worked as part of a team to promote the Australian Rowing Championships. Wrote press releases and athlete profiles under the direction of Hughes PR.

recruited a new team, and published ten 50-page full colour editions (published every 2 weeks during the university term)over the course of 2010. Responsible for setting a strong, community-focussed vision, and driving a small team to make that vision a reality. Turned the magazine from a niche artist publication with a small readership, to a magazine with a broad appeal, and a strong and loyal readership. Contributed several pieces of work to the magazine. Created unilifemag.com in January 2010, by the end of the year it was averaging 250+ visitors a day.

Employed by South Australian agricultural company to interview members of the McBride family, write personal profiles for eventual publication in company history (May 2008 ­ current) UniSA UniLife Events and Promotions Manager Responsible for conceiving of, organising and executing on-campus events ­ including concerts, sausage-sizzles and student forums. Running these events required careful management of large teams, negotiation with key stakeholders within the university, and management of a budget.
