The mission of Delta Kappa Alpha is to foster lifelong character, collaborative and creative storytelling, ethical and productive business practices, philanthropic action, and fellowship by and between students of the cinematic arts.

Magic Number Studios is an independent non-profit film collective run by college students with a burning desire to create. It began with the spark of a small idea for a simple short film, and has since blossomed into a determined group of aspiring filmmaker-students from different parts of North America with the intent to create a new film each year.My biggest goal for Magic Number Studios is for it to be viewed as an opportunity for students who don’t have an education in filmmaking (or students who want to learn more in general), to be able to learn the different departments of filmmaking and fuel their passions through hands-on pre-production, set, and post-production work.Our film collective’s biggest challenges occur when our ambitious creative drives are met with the practical and financial realities of student-production; where our time as creators must be balanced with scholarship and employment. Despite these challenges, each member of Magic Number Studios meets every task, and every day with tenacity and a mindset tuned for a learning opportunity.My role as Vice President at Magic Number Studios is to help overlook overall productions (Co-Producer role), Host and assist host meetings about production, pitch meetings, etc., and to recruit new members through production marketing. My different creative roles across our productions include: Director, Producer, Writer, Actor, Editor, Sound Designer, Costumer, Prop-handler, 2nd Assistant Camera.

- Responsible for plant watering & care, potting purchased plants, teaching potting classes, item restocking & inventory, and display & storage arrangement.

- Responsible for: Assisting head servers in general section management, clearing courses/dishes, bussing tables, appetizer preparation, food running, and bar restocking.- Fast-paced environment

- Created videos, posts and discussions regarding film and other visual media in the science fiction fanbase. These posts have varied from video edits, costume and prop creation videos, movie/TV discussion, comedy skits, and rankings.- Gained following of 38k users, as well as made connections with other creators and collaborated with them through our content. - Created monetized content, and have had sponsorships through various companies related to my content’s niche like SaberSwing and PopSockets.

- Responsible for: Hosting fun drama-related games and activities for the campers daily, and planning/hosting the anticipatory camper talent show at the end of the session.
