I am a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, with over 20 years experience working in accounting practices. Settling BDO, to assist their growing client base in the Business Services & Outsourcing Sector. During my career I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of industries and sectors a few of which are Day Nurseries, Doctors, Pharmacies, Hauliers, Manufacturers, Tech & Media Companies, Oil Suppliers.I have specialised in the accounting for SME’s but have experience working with businesses with turnovers up to £6billion.A large proportion of my career has been assisting SME’s with implementation of new accounting systems designed to assist the business’ in obtaining accurate financial information and enabling them to grow.Outside of the office, I enjoy a wide variety of activities ranging from painting, ball room dancing through to extreme sports such as Parachute Jumps.With Parachute Jumps in mind, I can honestly say I would not jump out of a plane without the safety net that is a parachute, and SME’s should be no different all business’ need a safety net, none can be better than seeking the expertise of BDO to navigate the pitfalls of accounting and taxation for businesses.
