Part of British Land Plc, Comgenic was a leading UK developer of digital communications solutions for shopping centres providing an integrated suite of software for the management of a centre-wide intranet, security messaging and sales data analysis as well as content management tools for digital marketing including website / plasma screens / touchscreen information kiosks.This was a business-to-business role focused on new business (FTSE 100) generation and account building.I identified, researched, targeted and successfully penetrated a number of key FTSE 100 accounts at all levels of the business (to director level) building prospects for sales pipeline.Primarily a client facing sales based role, solution orientated with consultative approach to address individual customer requirements and aspirations with typically long multi-stage sales cycle.Role requires good understanding of IT infrastructure, primarily based on IP networks.

Part of global telecommunications company Ericsson, Componedex was a systems-integrator specialising in tailor-made satellite network and voice compression (DCME) systems.This was a varied role involving the design and delivery of two core solution offerings, these being:-i) satellite voice/data WAN solutions to medium-large corporates worldwideand ii) DCME (Digital Circuit Multiplication Equipment) voice compression systems to GSM/PSTN network and call centre operators worldwide. A business-to-business sales role dealing with medium-large international corporates at senior technical and commercial level with periodic foreign travel.I was responsible for full sales cycle from lead generation, customer consultations and solutions design to proposals/quotes and closure of business. During my time at Ericsson Componedex, I established and secured several new business customers to enable the company to remain profitable during difficult market conditions.The solutions aspect of the role required a strong understanding of a wide range of communications technology, systems, standards and hardware.
