My role involved overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization ensuring successful operation and continuous improvement by taking the lead on:• Developing project management, customer relationship management, and inventory management systems• Coordinating team meetings and product development sessions• Planning and supervising several facility renovations• Providing sales and technical support to customers• Developing operator’s manuals for new products• Implementing an equipment tracking system• Managing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and allocating capital effectivelyI worked with customers to define their custom equipment specifications, set pricing, designed a solution in CAD, sourced materials, and oversaw the fabrication for projects such as:• A solar-powered, remote-operated, mobile platform purpose-built for collecting data in research plots• Retrofitting an old seeder with new bulk fertilizer boxes metered by adjustable ground-driven transmissions• A swather header designed for the customer’s specific application of harvesting hemp plots• Several unique three-point hitch plot sprayers

3D Maker Market specialized in mechanical design and rapid prototyping to help entrepreneurs and hobbyists achieve their goals.

• Developed standard operating procedure for producing renders in SolidWorks• Created standardized drawing templates in SolidWorks for use in competition• Designed steel cart for transporting Baja vehicle

Working closely with other mechanical engineering students, I designed and built the electrical system for a 3D printed powered upper body exoskeleton, and programmed the controls in Arduino IDE to operate via joystick and myoelectric sensors attached to the user. I modelled and 3D printed the enclosures for the microcontroller and joystick, with emergency stops integrated into each.

I worked on the development of a radio frequency strain gauge for rail, working hands-on fabricating and assembling prototypes of electromechanical devices. I used SOLIDWORKS to design new parts and modify existing designs to tailor to the customers' requirements, and create engineering drawings for fabrication and inspection purposes.

I conducted cost-benefit analyses, and led cost-saving projects in the manufacturing facility.

I helped improve efficiency and machine reliability using 6S principles and failure mode and effects analyses.

I was responsible for various tasks including nuclear density testing, training employees, sieve analysis, surveying, working the scale, and checking.

I was one of 30 students across Canada selected to participate in the National Ambassador Youth Forum held in Vancouver. Many activities and workshops were held over 5 days to promote bilingualism, and to teach us how to spread our passion to our own communities.
