As a legal intern with the Court of Appeals Litigation Group, I collaborated on a team of seven attorneys to handle claims that came before the Department of Veterans Affairs. I conducted legal research into different areas of veterans law in order to recommend a course of action for the Department to pursue, and then presented that course of action to opposing counsels at briefing conferences. As part of my job, I drafted and filed joint motions for remand, an appellate brief, and Equal Access to Justice Act claims with the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims as a certified, non-attorney practitioner.

As an I-9 Auditor, I handled the I-9 audit process for over thirty corporate stores, offices, and warehouses across the United States. As part of that process, I communicated directly with local managers to ensure that their locations were in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security's work authorization regulations. I handled sensitive employee documentation for over two hundred employees, and worked with them to ensure that their I-9 forms were properly filled out and in compliance with Homeland Security regulations.

I handled logistical concerns for end users at corporate headquarters and directly worked with them to resolve their issues. Additionally, I supervised asset management, maintenance, and storage and worked to safely dispose of and recycle surplus and obsolete equipment.
