MCR Pathways was founded in 2007 to address the gap in life-chances and educational outcomes, between care-experienced young people and their peers. The MCR charity was established to support young people who have experienced disadvantage and help them realise their full potential through education. We do this through our school-based mentoring programme – matching young people with a fully-trained volunteer mentor. The vision is that every care-experienced young person, or those who have experienced disadvantage, get the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person.

FindYou allows you to find photos against a time and location you were once at. The idea is that no names or tags are required or ever used, it allows people to find photos they may wish to download, share or request purchase – (if it’s from a professional photographer’s profile).In early 2017 I went on holiday to Cuba, as part of the trip we stayed in a small town called Trinidad. Trinidad has many vibrant colourful streets and historic buildings – a true world heritage site. Whilst here we took many photos, there was one photo I captured on my phone that had the sunset, the streets declining down to the main square and surrounding hills of the town – it was a beautiful photo. In the middle of this photo was a couple looking at each other holding hands, a once in a life time shot.On my way back to the hotel, high on the rich smell of gas from the 1950 Cadillac, I found the photo in my camera roll. As Group Head of IT for Bionical I had responsibility for developing and delivering the Bionical Group IT strategy within the agreed budget and timescales to ensure that the Bionical Group had cost effective, professional IT provision. I managed the performance and development of the IT function together with workload and responsibilities of projects, infrastructure and support. I managed the expectations of IT stakeholders and external IT vendors. I ensured development and maintenance of policies, standards and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and safe custody of all IT equipment and data, managing exposure to risk effectively.

At Emas Pharma my drive to improve ICT operations had been welcomed in an expanding company. I had the privilege of developing and watching Emas Pharma grow from a core of 10 staff and consultants in 2010 to over 250 in 2018. I successfully saw Emas Pharma's ICT through a range of vendor, partner and internal audits (including two from the MHRA), 5 office moves which include international setup and migration, business expansion, department resource developments which included management of international staff and numerous projects - ranging from physical facility improvements to cloud environment implementation and cyber essential qualification company wide.

I was accountable for Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation at Emas Pharma. In this role I started to offer expertise at management and board level for new solutions, design and business lead technology changes.

I supported all areas of IT within Emas Pharma, from development of new technologies requirements arising in service strategy, through to training and feedback analysis within continual service improvement.

I managed all processes of service operation within Emas Pharma. It’s here where I excelled in customer relationship support when dealing with event, incident and request fulfilment management.

I was a key support engineer responsible for managing the IT Service Desk, I had additional tasks and duties within Service Operation. I reported into the Head of IT, which allowed me to broaden my understanding of other IT service requirements within the Business.

I worked in the Medicine Development division of ChoicePharma based in Hertfordshire. My role was Technical Support. I helped with Microsoft Applications, Database Management and IT Administration. It was during my time at Choice Pharma I developed a keen interest in IT Operations, this interest was recognised by the IT Manager and lead to me taking on further IT Support responsibilities within the division.

I created concepts for new products and manufactured existing products. I was proficient in the use of CAD/CAM and assisted the team with technical issues.
