I started working at wilko at the age of 16 after just leaving school, I was contracted 6 hours a week which ran perfect with my further education.I studied Travel & Tourism aswell as hospitality & business at 6th form, then I carried on my Travel and Tourism studies at college which was completed with distinction gradesAfter finishing my studies I decided to progress with my career at Wilko, in this time i have learnt all roles within store, helped out at other stores and also duty manager trained. I am now a full time supervisor and oversee all aspects within the store. I manage teams, Delegate daily tasks, make sure customer service is to a very high standard, I am fully cash office trained and deal with the cash side of the store on a daily basis as well as all cash office work, I support the Store Manager in managing and inspiring our team to be at their best, step up to duty manager to cover the store when needed. I also demonstrate a hands-on approach for all operations and activities instore by working alongside my teams. I am also trained in visual merchandising and complete all instore & window displays
