When people ask what I do my response is "creating clarity of careers for employees and making sure they get paid fairly." Specific activities where I spend most of my time with clients are in broad-based performance and rewards including job evaluation, external market research, competitive compensation assessments, pay program design & implementation, and total rewards strategy. I enjoy being one of Mercer's subject matter experts for large, global, premium brands, as well as government entities. My passion for work that truly makes a difference led me to a niche where we define and measure work. Without an accurate understanding of the work being performed at what career levels, it is impossible to identify, assess, and develop the skills needed. This important foundation has allowed me to learn about work across all industries, in all disciplines, within all sizes of employers.I spent two years leading our technology account management team, which gave me deep expertise in digital execution of talent programs. Our team was responsible for ultimate client satisfaction and effective delivery of Mercer’s Talent Technology portfolio which complements and supports the broader consulting offering. Prior to joining Mercer, I spearheaded major workforce change initiatives in the non-profit and government industries. I also worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Hewitt Associates in health and group benefits outsourcing. I am a native Atlantan and proud graduate of Georgia State University. My degree is in Business Statistics. I also have an MBA from Rice University, which I think is one of the most beautiful campuses in the US. At Rice's graduation ceremony, I was the proud recipient of awards for Citizenship and Communications. My professional memberships in WorldatWork and The Atlanta Area Compensation Association allow me to be a continuous learner. I serve on The Leadership Council at Zoo Atlanta, serve as a board member for The Atlanta Police Foundation’s Crime Stoppers program, and co-lead monthly dinner services and donations at a local transition shelter for families.Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my family. My weekends are full watching my two teens play sports and driving them around to socialize with friends.
