“Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference.”I have always had a natural curiosity for all things mechanical, and even more so now when coupled with advancements in electronic systems. My passion for engineering continued to develop as I obtained my mechanical engineering degree, but I knew that I needed hands-on experience as a foundation before pursuing my inclination.Since 2013 I have been fortunate enough to gain on-site experience in the oil and gas, power generation, mining, and processing industries through successful project execution on various levels. Most recently, as a construction manager I am able to not only able to lead teams of 250+ employees through effective motivation and communication, but I am also able to gain invaluable insight into engineering process from concept to implementation and everything in-between.Recent successes achieved include:• Initiating and successfully completing the construction of 20,000m³ in additional storage tank capacity whilst upgrading a fuel storage and distribution depot to have the ability to receive and dispatch fuel simultaneously, which was previously not possible.• Maintained zero site incidents and lost work day cases for 4 consecutive year.When I am not on the job, I love being outdoors through camping and hiking with my wife and son, finding interesting ways to cook top-class cuisine outdoors, and finding new adventures along the way.I love to connect with people from all walks of life, so please do not hesitate to send me a message.Specialties: client management | mechanical engineering | leadership | contractor management | time management | cost management | problem solving | communication | detail-orientated | analytical | organized | quick decision making
