I am a very organised and focused individual with a wide range of transferrable skills. In my work, I am an innovation-focused thinker - I believe in always learning, working smart, and enjoy finding ways to automate, increase accuracy, or improve presentation.After a few short-term freelance contracts, I began my career designing kitchens and bars for one of the UK’s fastest growing restaurant groups, Loungers. I designed and managed projects from £100 to over £170,000, providing innovative custom design solutions, dedicated client communication and effective management to see each project through. Sadly the onset of Covid-19 meant I was made redundant. This was a good opportunity to gain some new skills in business, marketing and IT/software, which I excelled in for two years before moving back into CAD and design.I now work as a CAD Technician for a large geo-environmental engineering and remediation consultancy. I’ve learnt a lot about the construction and development process, which I’ve really enjoyed as someone interested in architecture, civil engineering and environmental regeneration. I believe design and technology have a fundamental part to play in fighting the climate crisis and I aim to be a part of that.I am a fast-learning designer with a knack for picking up software and running with it, particularly CAD. I excel in project management and account management through dedicated client communication and strong organisational skills, as demonstrated by the volume and size of projects I have been involved in.Outside of work I enjoy tinkering with computers, mountain biking, climbing and have a love for cooking and exploring great food with my partner. Bristol has been home since university and I love life here with my partner, dog and two cats.
