My role at AMSI revolves around organisation and communication. I am a point of contact for universities hosting events that our organisation sponsors and step them through the processes required to run their event. I also help with administration tasks for AMSI's flagship events. My other roles include helping to run the social media channels of the organisation mainly focusing around Facebook posting and Facebook events, updating contant on the AMSI websites and other more general administrative tasks.

As a casual event staff member, I am the first face people see when they attend the stadium. My tasks involve checking tickets and answering queries so it is very important that I present the organisation and myself in a positive way. Being approachable, welcoming and friendly are key to my role ensuring that people attending the event have a good time and a positive experience and want to return to the venue in the future.
