As an undergraduate at the University of Iowa, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, with an expected graduation in May 2025. While at school, my role as a teaching assistant involves overseeing problem-solving sessions and grading assignments across several engineering disciplines, utilizing my strong communication skills and tenacious work ethic. These experiences have honed my ability to explain complex material clearly and support student learning.During my summer internship at Fauske & Associates as a Process Safety Intern, I focused on cell-level battery testing and developed standard operating procedures for lithium-ion cell testing. I used my knowledge of process safety to enhance the safety of our testing processes and applied my programming skills in Python and C++ to improve testing equipment and simulation software. I also played a key role in expanding the company’s battery testing capabilities, working closely with a small team to achieve our goals.With a strong passion for process safety and consulting, I’m focused on using my technical skills to address real-world challenges. I’m committed to improving safety and helping companies solve complex issues through practical solutions. I’m excited about opportunities that allow me to make a tangible impact and support organizational goals.
