Working under Dr. Traci Sitzmann, conducted research with JSTOR and Google Scholar to collect and qualitatively code articles using NVIVO and Excel, highlighting key terms regarding all world religions and the gender wage gap. Copy edited the nearly 60-page manuscript through multiple rounds of editing. The manuscript, titled "The Hidden Cost of Prayer: Religiosity and the Gender Wage Gap," was published in The Academy of Management Journal on October 27, 2020. Began another project, as a Co-Author, after the initial wave of the COVID pandemic, attempting to correlate the behavior of executives of the top 100 public companies in the United States with their engagement in six key response strategies. Conducted qualitative research using JustCapital's Corporate COVID Tracker and by reading all press releases, financial reports, and written media coverage concerning the Top 100 companies between January 1 and August 1, 2020, i.e. the first six months of the pandemic. Worked with Dr. Sitzmann and other authors to define the framework and key terms involved in the hypotheses. Led the qualitative research and copy-editing components of the project. The manuscript was submitted for review to the Strategic Management Journal.Conducted research into two additional projects: 1) Regarding police brutality and the surge of protests and riots primarily provoked by George Floyd's death in May 2020.2) Regarding the true merit of corporate "best-of" lists and whether those lists feature companies that are truly well-liked by their stakeholders.
